We are so grateful to our volunteers for helping bring the 5th Annual Jackson Heights Mile to life! Your support ensures that every runner feels welcomed, prepared, and celebrated. Here’s how you’ll be helping us on race weekend:

Friday, August 29 – Early Bib Distribution (5:30pm–7:30pm)
📍 Renaissance School, 81st Street
- Distribute race bibs and shirts so runners are ready for race day.
- Answer questions and help keep the pickup line moving smoothly.
- Set the tone of excitement leading into race day!
Saturday, August 30 – Race Day (8:30am–12:30pm)
📍 Jackson Heights (Along the course)
- Help keep the course clear and safe for runners.
- Guide participants and cheer them on throughout the day.
- Support each heat:
- 10:00am – Runners 40 and up
- 10:30am – Runners 39 and under
- 11:00am – Kids Dash (81st Street)
- 11:30am – Relay Teams
- 12:00pm – Competitive/Community & Kids Heat
