Sam brought back the Astoria run after a pandemic pause, and this run is one you don’t want to sleep on. Not only does Astoria boast the best scenery of any of our Queens runs (That view along the Hellgate is one of the best in Queens!), but Sam’s events are well put together, and thoughtful. Ask anyone about the 2023 scavenger hunt, and you’ll know what we mean. They have also done events featuring local businesses and special routes for Juneteenth, Pride, as well as a Brewery, and Halloween costume runs! They normally meet in the Ditmars section of Astoria, near the N/W, at a local bar, Rivercrest.
